New Partnership with Cupertino Electric Inc.
on Kaiser Oakland Project

Red Dipper aims to participate as an electrical contractor with its existing partners at Cupertino Electric to collaborate on one of Oaklands largest projects in history! Kaiser Permanente to build giant, new $900 million Oakland headquarters.

Health care giant Kaiser Permanente plans to construct a 1.6 million-square-foot headquarters in Oakland, creating one of the largest new buildings in the Bay Area — larger in space, though not height, than San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower. Kaiser, already Oakland’s largest private employer, said Monday it will consolidate 7,200 East Bay employees from seven offices into a new, 29-story tower at 2100 Telegraph Ave. Construction is expected to start next year, and the building is set to open in 2023. The project is a block from the 19th Street BART Station.

P22 is one of the last pieces of a network of open-spaces and trails that envision a new way of engaging the Eastern Waterfront from Bayview-Hunters Point to the Embarcadero. The 5.5-acre site is located on the Mission Bay waterfront adjacent to the Golden State Warriors Arena. The project will include large flexible spaces for various events, a café, native landscaping, trails, and unique design features that engage the water and celebrate the Bay views and the site’s industrial history.
